Hi friend! I’m Gabriella, the founder behind The House of Selah. ♡
I’ve always been drawn to creating. From a young age, it showed up in different ways, like art, speaking, and little business ideas. But for me, it’s always been about bringing ideas to life.
Candles started for me as something simple and creative to do for fun. Over time, that small hobby turned into something I genuinely fell in love with. I kept experimenting, pouring more, and growing my craft, and eventually, House of Selah was born from that process.
The word Selah is found throughout the Psalms in the Bible and is understood to mean pause and reflect. That meaning is at the heart of this brand. My hope is that when you light a House of Selah candle, it creates a moment of peace—an invitation to slow down and be present, whether you're reading, resting, journaling, or spending time with your Family.
What started as a hobby has grown into something I’m truly grateful for, and I continue to trust God with every step of it.
And a few fun things about me: I’m an iced coffee lover, I love beach days, tacos are a favorite, and I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends!
